Course aim

To prepare students for their future roles within the Construction industry through learning in partnership with industry and community.

Course content

Students are expected to undertake industry experience in partnership with relevant construction and
professional organisations for an extended period of time that could be accumulated over their entire degree.

Students are expected to demonstrate that:

  1. They are being supervised and nurtured by industry professionals (or mentors);
  2. They performed a range of tasks and processes to acquire practical skills;
  3. Got an improved educational experience in order to develop greater connections with the world of work in
    areas such as construction management, quantity surveying and building surveying; and
  4. Got an opportunity to understand themselves in relation to their career development, their academic studies and transition to employment.

Students are required to enrol in this course upon completion of their Professional Practice hours and submit a reflective report and receive a non-graded pass as part of their assessment.

Students are unable to graduate until this course is completed.
